I am Board Certified in Pediatrics. I graduated Medical School from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine, which in February 2019 was ranked 4th among top medical schools across the country for training our future physicians. The Castle Connelly “Top Doctors” list noted that “Over 900 of the leading doctors earned medical degrees from SUNY Downstate.” My Pediatric Residency training was at University of South Florida, College of Medicine. I’ve been in private practice since 2000.
As a medical student, I had the privilege to care for children at Kings County Hospital & Downstate Medical Center in urban Brooklyn, NY. As a resident, I cared for children at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL & All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. My training gave me the ability to diagnose and manage a variety of conditions amongst a diverse population of children, spanning many nationalities, backgrounds, and social needs. These experiences helped shape the Pediatrician I am today.
My passions include family and child advocacy. All children are blessings. All children deserve all the love and care we can possibly give them. While equality does not exist for all children, it should, in all aspects of their care – physically, mentally, socially, emotionally & economically. Idealistic? Maybe. But attainable.
