St Joseph’s Hospitals Foundation | Endless Summer Gala 2011

St. Joseph’s Hospitals Foundation

Last night’s Gala benefiting St. Joseph’s Hospitals Foundation was wonderful & undoubtedly a success!  It was our first attendance, but it will not be our last.  We had the pleasure of being seated with some truly friendly, warm, and outstanding couples.  The entertainment was amazing – starring Al Jardine of the Beach Boys and Dean Torrence of Jan and Dean.  Most importantly, it was nice to be a part of a good cause.  Proceeds from this event will support the St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital Expansion in Tampa, Florida.

Of special note, Hinks & Elaine Shimberg were honored as Distinguished Benefactors.  One woman’s story of breast cancer survival was truly moving and inspiring!  The Hinks and Elaine Shimberg Breast Center at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital is a premier breast center offering breast care to all women. This is only one of many, many wonderful philanthropic ways the Shimbergs have helped the Tampa Bay Area.  Giving back to the community is something we can all strive toward.  I was so pleased to be there on such an auspicious occasion.
